REGISTRATION
You may start anytime, but must attend an intake/orientaion & complete the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Edcation) skills assessment test before enrolling in class.

Turning Point is open for enrollment 11 months out of the year!
Students recieve individualized instruction by dedicated, state licensed teachers.
School Corporations work in partnership with Turning Point to transition students needing an alternative education.

Students may choose to attend the all day sessions from
8:15 a.m. - 3 p.m.
(1 hour lunch)

FREE LUNCH PROGRAM for Full Day students including ABE and GED Students

Adult Basic Education
(ABE) Program

Adult Basic Education is a program to
increase your basic skills in:

* READING
* ENGLISH
* WRITING
* MATH
You can begin anytime & set your own goals.
Day and Evening classes are available to accomodate your schedule.
Who Uses ABE?

* Persons preparing for GED.
* Persons wanting to brush up on Math, Reading or English skills.
* High School graduates who want to upgrade & enhance skills.
* Out-of-school youth (16 years & older).
* Person preparing for college for college & vocational admissions tests.
* Persons wanting to improve employment opportunities & gain confidence.
* Parents wanting to help their children with homework & success in school.

FEES:

T.A.B.E. Test (paid by Adult Basic Education students)
$30.00

ABE classes require the TABE assessment. There is a
pre-test prior to enrollment and a post-test after
30-50 hours of instruction. There is a one-time fee
of $30.00 for these tests.

The actual classes are FREE of charge!
