REGISTRATION

You may start anytime, but must attend an intake/orientaion & complete the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Edcation) skills assessment test before enrolling in class.

Students eligible to take the GED exam must be 17 years or older and be a resident of Indiana for 30 days or more.

17 year-old candidates no longer subject to Indiana compulsory school attendance laws may be take the GED exam provided they present a withdrawal form from their former high school and documentation of passing the Official GED Practice Test, which TPEC provides.

GED Preparation Program
Adult Basic Education (ABE) can help you prepare for the GED
exam for high school equivalency. Instruction is provided in the 5 areas of
:
WRITING SKILLS
SOCIAL SKILLS
SCIENCE
LITERATURE
MATHEMATIC
You will receive individualized instruction with dedicated,state-licensed teacher and you work at your own pace.

FEES:

T.A.B.E. Test (paid by GED students)
$30.00

GED classes require the TABE assessment. There is a pre-test prior to
enrollment and a post-test after 30-50 hours of instruction. There is a
one-time fee of $30.00 for these tests.

The actual classes are FREE of charge!

GED TEST REGISTRATION

All candidates must pre-register (in person) & pre-pay $60.00 at the
registration site. Three (3) pieces of valid identification (one being a photo ID)
must be presented at the time of registration.
