Recipient ~ Tonya Wilson

We would like to recognize Tonya Wilson, who has done an outstanding job. Tonya has been a licensed foster parent with Open Arms since October 2006. She grew up in Clay City and has two sons. Tonya is a member of several organizations that support her community, as well as educational and church related organizations. Tonya and her family attend church regularly and are in active in Bible school, Sunday school and the youth activities. She currently has two foster children in her care, and has been able to demonstrate unconditional love to the children despite the behavioral challenges that she has faced. She is able to provide the appropriate balance of discipline and nurturance that is necessary to help the youth overcome their past. She has worked well with the biological families and has aided in the reunification process. Tonya is willing to go above and byond in order to meet the needs of the children she is caring for. Thank you Tonya, for your constant love and service to these youth and to Open Arms.
