It is our goal at Open Arms to meet the needs of the young people who come under our care, whether it is spiritual, mental, or physical.
The Smile Fund is a campaign that allows us to collect the funds necessary to help the young ladies residing in the Miriam Home who are in desperate need of orthodontia work. Orthodontia work is not covered by insurance or by funding that Open Arms receives. This work is expensive, yet necessary. Many people feel that orthodontia is purely cosmetic, but there are many long-term effects of orthodontia that benefit a youth's health.
